Pissing off the establishment, CBT is life, the autistic life is easy if you are somewhat verbal, mainstream, stop taking away money from autistic kids, thinking is optional, folks, one post at a time. But my last post wasn’t that bad. See, I offer alternatives unlike most people. I’m not trying to be awesome, though. I don’t care about image.

Only reality matters.

No new, deep thoughts today. And who wants to take money away from autistic kids? Oops. Sorry, I mean kids with autism? Not me. Seriously, why would anyone want to do that unless they are an autistic-phobe? They do exist. OBVIOUSLY. But that’s not me.

I just want them to be honest (HA – not happening) and say we don’t think you are worthy of OUR money, so step aside. Full EFFING stop. No need to say more, Larry, Olga, whoever you are, and her name starts with P – Petra?

They can’t do that. End it there for radical honesty. The other BS they spout causes soooo much more harm. But they wouldn’t know an honest thought if…whatever. This isn’t about them.

I wanted to do a little bit on job discrimination that autistic people face. I’m so tired, so don’t expect much.

I’ve lost jobs due to being autistic, and the stats are pretty bad. Some people give up because they can’t get hired. Therefore, they don’t get fired as much. Some people get crappy, remote, dead-end jobs (Hi, this is me) just to have income.

Martha and Dick don’t want to hire us for most jobs, so…

Going to the research other reasons autistic people have a hard time with employment is “navigating social demands.” Well, I’d like to demand they make sense, but only they can get what they want.

It starts with the interview process for many. The hiring research finds that autistic applicants receive less favorable impressions during job interviews. Only a shock to Martha, who has her head up who knows what. Is she with Dick? Probably talking (?) about nothing.

I’m not impressed with Martha or Dick. But I don’t matter.

Non-autistic people consistently misunderstand autistic social behavior. True. But do they understand anything not like them?

So, before the job even starts, they get penalized for chit-chat, eye contact, friendliness tone, etc. And G-d forbid the person gets the job. Mo’ problems.

They are so freaking demanding.

And if they get the job then there are other things not at all related to be social that I deal with daily. Working in a “neurotypical job” AKA 97% of jobs is so tiring. It has caused me burnout that might be permanent. It’s been a year now and I’m getting worse not better.

Shoutout to Dick, Martha, Olga etc. for making sure this happens to not only me but other autistic adults as well.

I started reading a book on autistic adults and anxiety, and I had to stop early due to the author discussing The Equality Act, which is in the UK. We have the ADA (not the friendliest to autistic people).

And the thought of the UK having “Discrimination arising from disability” makes me laugh because that’s one of the things okay to use for discriminating in the US. Not loudly because there’s always a risk. And corporations care about that almighty dollar more than anything.

Yes, I was “let go” due to my disability, and it was 100% legal. But not my personal current issue. My issue is how autistic people are going to work if Dick says they can’t be autistic, AKA themselves? He won’t officially use those words.

Seems like there’s another logic problem or they really don’t care. At all. Two things can be true at the same time…
