More no pressure posts. I had a day off from my day job this week, but my cats pretty much made me lose one night of sleep the next night, so no recovery. Not that one day off will ever solve much in my life. Even a week off and then back to work won’t give me “wellness,” but I still yearn for that time to catch up.

^{Mommy Don’t: From Mother to Murderer by Sherri Aikenhead (Nonfiction). My rating: ★★★★ I read/watch a lot of true crime. But I have to admit the person who committed this crime was a little more cold-blooded than most. But I think people only talk about her on-the-surface motive when her real motivation was not wanting to be seen as a bad parent. The irony. She wanted to appear like a good mom, but it ended up tragically. It was more about image for her.} 

^{The Midnight Wife by L.G. Davis (Fiction). My rating: ★★★ Let’s take all the bad things that could possibly happen to a person and put them in one book. Ugh.}
