NYE and, of course, I worked a full day. But I only worked 20 minutes at my PT job and ran out. Hmmm. Maybe there will be some work there tomorrow, but it is a holiday. Yes, I’m off from my FT job tomorrow. It must be illegal not to give us that day off. I’m kidding. Or not.

I finished one more book. Bringing my total to 50 books read this year. I usually read around 45 annually. Final book info:

• Paper Girl: A Memoir of Home and Family in a Fractured America by Beth Macy (nonfiction) My rating: ★★★★ Torn because I knew a lot of this stuff. Like, why did people vote for Trump against their economic interests? (Everyone doesn’t value money as #1, so I don’t know why this is so shocking to people. Money isn’t my #1 value either…But I didn’t vote for Trump. Why do people insist that money must be #1? So annoying.) However, I did learn a few things. I feel like the four stars is for other people and not for me. I think most people will learn a lot. I wanted to learn more. Something new.
