That’s it. Honesty isn’t ALWAYS the best polciy. It’s the best for communication. But a person being honest about committing a crime isn’t always the best solution for the person. What if they don’t want to go to jail for five years? Hmmm.

Sure, Mark will feel better when he confesses. Nah. Most people will not feel better “paying for their sins.” It’s just somethng that must happen in some situations. Honesty can be hard when the consequences are dire. I get that. But when it comes to communication…I will always want honesty and I would not continually engage if a person is constantly dishonest because what would be the point? What a waste of time.

I need clarity. It’s not a want. It’s a need.

I won a prize! Sure, I have to pay taxes on it and I’m still paying the IRS for 2024 taxes but I’m about celebrating and not mentioning anything sad. Look at what I won – A Countertop Air Fryer with an Oven!

I don’t cook. I’ve never used an air fryer. Hell, I haven’t had a working oven in TWO years. But look at what’s coming on Wednesday. I never get excited about stuff like this, but I am excited.

I’m also conflicted. My house has bad electrical wiring. I can’t use a microwave and a frying pan at the same time, so what will happen when I try to use that? So, I’m trying to calm down because there’s a chance I might not be able to use it at all.

I’m exhausted and have nowhere to put it. It’s coming on Wednesday. I’m desperate for “real food” (long story), but when will I be able even to TRY it? I left a microwave that I needed in the box for a while because…ugh. No bandwidth.

Taxes will be on the value of $270. Ouch. If I were getting a refund, then I wouldn’t be concerned. But I never get refunds. I don’t like the idea of adding it to the tax bill, but at this point, it’s not a big deal. Whatever.

So, glad to get it. I hope this betters my life. It’s funny that people talk about nutrition and food, but they rarely mention supplies, and that’s always my major issue. Guess I’m weird.

If I can get it to work, I promise I won’t only eat french fries. I’ll occasionally bake a chicken. Or whatever people do.
