Not what people think I should do. What they say are things I would consider BIG. So, my answer is I try to spend 15 minutes a day on a crafty hobby like knitting, working on my vision book, and coloring. I get it done about 2 or 3 times a week. The other things, like cooking and cleaning, are what others tell me. But NOPE. Unless the question is, “How do you want to stress yourself out a little more every day?”
I don’t expect them to get it. But it’s still annoying.
More free labor…I mean surveys! I know people who get paid (less than minimum wage, though) for doing surveys. One person makes between $50 to $100 a month. Unfortunately, she has less than $1K coming in a month so she needs more than online survey money.
Reading Survey Time
What do you like to read during the summer months?
I will read anything during the summer. I took Night
by Elie Wiesel on vacation a few years ago. I usually will have a few ebooks and one paperback to read for options. So, no specific books come to mind except for Jennifer Weiner, whom I haven’t read in a few years. I just want to catch up on books I haven’t read.
During the past month, which 3 things have been top of mind for you?
- health/well being
- the economy/inflation
- my financial well being
Where have you found comfort this past month?
- listening to music
- watching movies and tv shows
- engaging in hobbies or crafts
- reading listening to books
- spending time with pets
What books are you reading to bring you comfort?
- Six Weeks to Live by Catherine McKenzie
- Grounds for Murder by Betty Ternier Daniels
- The Twisted Women’s Book Club by various authors
(Not reading specifically for comfort these days.)
What music brings you comfort?
- folk
- rock
- pop
- country
(not the best options – multiple choice)
Which songs bring you comfort?
- Perfect for you by Rachel Platten
- Anything Could Happen by Ellie Goulding
- Break free by Ariana Grande
(Impossible question to answer. Just looked at what I listened to over the last 365 days.)
What is a trend you’ve been seeing this month on social media?
People are talking about a recession or a possible recession more. I’ve seen more about saving money and organizing.
(I rarely use social media, but I didn’t want to skip the question. And I didn’t want to repeat last month’s answer. This is what I’ve seen in business forums.)
I do a survey for them every month. I hate that they ask for “the past month”. I’m time-blind. Months mean nothing to me. If the answers had to be correct, I would have to look at my notes. I had to look up what I read last month. So, my answers are for the past 6 months because days, weeks and months mean nothing to my brain.
