I don’t shop

Daily writing prompt
Where would you go on a shopping spree?

Assuming that money isn’t an issue…

  • A good local thrift store
  • ThredUp
  • Chanel
  • BJs
  • Michaels

How can any person pick one? If I could only pick one, I would pick a store with food. The size of my fridge limits the amount of food I can get, if I’m being real. But focusing on needs isn’t fun at the moment. I have a lot of hobbies so this list could be a lot longer.

Last week, I went back to my “collegetown” for the first time since I graduated! It’s been over 10 years. I can’t believe I hadn’t gone back before, but it was 3.5 hours away from where I used to live. Now it’s only 50 minutes away.

These pictures aren’t from my camera for safety reasons. Enjoyable trip, but I was with my dog and dogs aren’t allowed in the buildings so I couldn’t do much but walk around the campus.

It was also cold, so I didn’t go to all the nature places I wanted to go.

I went farther than I’ve ever been. Living here is rural living, and people like me who would love to live out there shouldn’t. I would never recommend that a person who doesn’t have adequate resources (comfortably middle class) live in an area that has nothing, easily floods, and is impossible to get out or in when it snows.

But if anyone wants to live in the country with no people around — it’s me! Of course.
