You already know my answer.
I had a decent day today despite having mold all over the house. This has been going on for months now*. So, not new. But since I’m used to living in a house with mold since I was a kid, it’s not a huge deal to me…even though it probably makes some things worse.
*Well, they always paint over the mold in cheap houses. I’m used to this for that reason.
My sister had asthma. I didn’t. But I’ve had shortness of breath for the past few years…but that also comes from other issues like kidney disease. I wouldn’t be surprised if I have issues with mold toxicity. It would be shocking if I didn’t. Got to put “read about how dangerous mold is” on my to-do list. It’s something I read about every few years and then forget. So, I will take start reading about mold again and I will take notes this time.
I came here because people are being people. It’s like they can’t help it. Well, I will help them. Not really. They don’t listen to me so that’s why I talk about them as, “people.” I like dogs and cats. Not people.
It’s late. Here’s the message I sent to an accessibility site because I’m fed up with PEOPLE. The message is meant for um, people. Not the website owners. But everyone who thinks everyone is like them. I will have tod delete this or reword it if they print it on their site.
I was looking over your site and saw that I couldn’t find something that I think should be as obvious, but I don’t see it. Is there anything about unnecessary beeping that some people use? The high-pitched, loud, jarring beep. They use it to keep out names, birthdays, swearing etc. People who are sensitive to sound, most autistic people can’t tolerate that. I would like to listen to more things but I can’t. There are other options like lowering the sound or muting that part. In other words, anything but a loud, obnoxious beep.
I have mentioned this, and people act like I’m the problem. As a person with a disability, I’m used to this. But it would be nice if anybody with a site on accessibility would note that using that shrilling beeping is stopping people with sensory issues from listening to or watching their content. We can’t skip it because we don’t know when it will happen. I wish people knew better, but people still type in all caps, so they are obvious unless it affects them. Thank you.
I have to thank PEOPLE for the content. I’m grateful for them for keeping me on my toes. Constantly.
