My Life Experience Means Nothing

Here are two random paragraphs I wrote without any context.

My perception is that once a person is considered different or strange, people tend to look more to get an indication that the person is okay in some way. They want confirmation. This is just what I’m guessing from my life experience. Not from an official source.

When a person is considered different or weird, they have to protect themselves in some way. When I was younger, I didn’t know this, and I wished I had. People have called the police when a person is just being themselves and dancing. Not harming anyone. So, to avoid more issues, I’ve learned that I can’t always be me in public or whenever people can hear or see me. Some people do it, and I think they are brave to take a chance like that. I’m more cautious.

Being yourself is a privilege. So many people are unaware. Good for them.
