You’re Still Gone

The most important invention in your lifetime is…

The desktop computer or the internet. This one is too easy. Both made it cheaper to start a business. You can also talk to people all over the world. Not everyone has access to these things.

I want a car that can parallel park, but even if I HAD to get a new car, the bank wouldn’t loan me that much. Plus, I live in a “bad” neighborhood, so do I want a new car? I could probably get a 2012 car with a lot of miles. I have a 2007 car that I love very much. I need to get an oil change soon. No, I never learned to parallel park, but since I have a right brain problem, I would probably still have a hard time.

Aren’t there cars that can stop if an animal or kid steps in front or the back of the car? Shouldn’t everyone have access to that to save lives? I digress…

I love the internet. I loved it much more when only geeks were on. That was fun. I used to chat with people. I learned about Judaism by joining a newsletter Judiasm. I don’t remember a lot. But I love learning about religions. The only religion I feel clueless about is Islam. I only know about the prayers. I was going to say I miss those email list, but that would MORE time on a computer. So, no.

Napster was nice while it lasted. Sorry, musicians. But they still aren’t getting paid as of today. They have to sell merchandise, start lines of perfume etc. and tour to make money. I’m surprised people still make albums. In 20 years, I will be shocked if albums of 10+ songs still exist. People will release singles or 4-5 songs and call that an album. I love music, so this makes me sad.

I can’t think of much more. AI makes things quicker. It’s like having an assistant or a business partner. I asked for a name of product I was making, and it did okay. I don’t have to spend hours brainstorming names. I wouldn’t brainstorm that long. Hello, multitasking. It does okay with outlines. You have to be specific to get great answers, and AI doesn’t know anything before 2021 which surprises me.

I’m still curious about cost. Notion has free AI, but I never type in Notion anymore. I use it as a Wiki. I never use it for notes, blogging or anything like that. ClickUp needs AI. I put ALL my notes there. ChatAI or whatever, is free for now, but not forever. I have never seen something be free some places but cost at others when it does the same thing. If you want SEO optimized content, you will probably have to pay. If anyone knows of a FREE AI platform that I can paste my blogs into and get a SEO score, please let me know. Thanks! I don’t always trust their scores. I think Yoast SEO (for WordPress.org users) is better.

Anyway, I’m sure there are some medical inventions I missed. I wish we had a cure for cancer, COVID, diabetes and more.

Sorry for all the grammar mistakes (Grammarly is a great invention – sometimes I think that. They need to stop messing with it with no warning).

I will fix typos and errors later.
