How do you define faith? What traditions were you brought up in?
Faith is simply believing in something. Not without question, of course. Question everything. I wasn’t really brought up in any faith. No overt attempts. Like most things, people expect you to believe in certain things and never question them.
Hmm, you live here and your parents are Christian. Of course, you are a Christian. It’s natural. It’s normal. Why should we have to DO anything? – This is how I felt like I was brought up. But I quickly never really believed in religion. I always knew it was a choice.

If you don’t feel strong in your faith, explore why.
Well, I don’t really have much faith in the traditional sense, so this question is difficult to answer. At one point, I considered myself spiritual, but that was decades ago. Now, I’m a realist. Pragmatic. No reason to really have faith….unless I want it.
The November Brain Dump is a challenge I created for myself in 2025 because I’m notoriously bad at documenting things. This will get me to journal either here or in my private journal every day of November. There is no theme. On days when I have nothing to say, I’m tired, or my brain won’t work (common state of mind), I have a random list of prompts to choose from. Enjoy the NBD challenge. It’s no big deal.
