No Big Deal

Sign says November Brain Dump

Tomorrow starts the first annual November Brain Dump. Started by me and I’m the only participant. This is a way to get me back into journaling for at least one month of year.

Backstory: I have almost no memory, so this is a way to document things. I can’t document everything. And just this week a doctor acted like a typical doctor and seemed annoyed I couldn’t remember something. I wouldn’t have journaled about that…unless I journaled daily. And if it was written, how would I find it? Spend hours reading every entry? Online, I can tag things so it’s a little easier.

NBD Challenge

The November Brain Dump is a challenge I created for myself in 2025 because I’m notoriously bad at documenting things. This will get me to journal either here or in my private journal every day of November. There is no theme. On days when I have nothing to say, I’m tired, or my brain won’t work (common state of mind), I have a random list of prompts to choose from. Enjoy the NBD challenge. It’s no big deal.

Guess I’m not perfect. I wish others weren’t either. Then maybe the bar would be lowered. lol. Screw their unreasonable demands. This is about the NBD – November Brain Dump.

It starts tomorrow. I have about 20 prompts to choose from on the days when I don’t have anything to say. My goal was to journal 25 days out of the 30, but now I’m journaling daily either in my paper journal, in my private online journal or here. It’s easier to journal everyday than to wonder if I can skip a day.

I’m near a burnout point, and I have a lot of things to do because somebody made a law, so I have more days off from my full-time job in November than usual. No time off in December. Other than Christmas Day. I don’t think I will get much time off from my PT job. But I might be unemployed from my FT job soon, so I’ll take what I can get. So, I have time to journal even when running errands, and I can still blog/journal while waiting.

No theme to the journaling. And that’s why it’s a called a brain dump. It’s the usual unpolished stuff.

No big deal. As usual.
