Not call the police on a neighbor a couple of years ago. Despite his harestment. Okay, bad taste, but the fact that I have to worry about calling the police should be the first thought. But whatevs. This is true. But it only happened once. If someone seems like they can be out of control (or is deaf, Black, autistic, is a minority in the city, or has a mental illness), I’m not calling the cops on them. Unless they stole my dog or has a weapon to my head.
I don’t have time for random acts of kindness that are elaborate. But I promote other people’s business with no affiliate links on social media very often. Most people probably don’t see the mention because I never @ them on Instagram.
I hope to virtually adopt a dog soon. I know I’m supposed to post on social media to get people to adopt the dog. But I don’t know what more there is. Hope they don’t mind only one post a week on the only 2 social media I’m on. (No TiK Tok or me).
To answer the question these days the only thing I do are things that don’t cost me time or money. Because I don’t have much of those. When I had time off from my FT job, I mowed someone’s lawn for free and I can promote other people’s businesses if I’m already posting any way. I would like to help people get their money from the government and help people do their taxes. But I don’t have time for that right now. Maybe one day.
Back to work. argh.
