Haven’t blogged her in almost a month. I have a little bit of time. So I’m posting what I wrote in my personal journal on May 5, 2023. It’s eerie how much my life is the same. This is why I don’t journal as much.
I used to journal to work through feelings and to document my life. But when life’s the same every day, what is the point of documenting?
The only difference between 2023 and 2024 is that I don’t mind being invisible right now. In fact, I prefer it. And I rarely do yoga on the weekends, so I didn’t do it today.
May 5, 2023
Today, I felt invisible, as if no one was reaching out to me.
I skipped my second dose of Adderall and took a half dose of a sleeping pill instead of my usual Klonopin. Despite working, I didn’t experience my typical depressive feelings. I desperately need Klonopin, but I’m not sure I’ll be able to get it. I’m hoping for a prescription of 15 pills for three months.
Earlier, I ate eggs and had a slight allergic reaction. The allergy medication seemed to do its job. I came here to write in my tiny notebook, so here’s a quick update on my day:
I did some yoga and enjoyed a nice walk with my dog. Each day, I fall more in love with him. He’s like a brand-new dog. I had slower work today after a week of a ton of work. Resting after work feels good, but I can’t help but feel like I should be doing something more. I’m considering working on my Notion journal to keep myself occupied.
