When I was a kid, Goodbye Moon and Velveteen Rabit. I still can’t believe how true Velveteen Rabit is. It’s real!!!
Oh, you mean now? It used to be a few Stephen King books, but either I’ve read them too much, or I want to read his new stuff and one book has a lot of gun violence which bothers me now, but I can still watch a violent movie. I think. Haven’t watched a violent movie with guns in a while, so I’m not sure.

Now, I reread nonfiction like James Baldwin, Wayne Dyer, and Anne Rule. I want to read a variety of books, so I tend not to reread whole books. I recently started the audiobook of “To Kill a Mockingbird” because I needed something to sleep to. I only listened to about 5 chapters before returning it to the library. I’ve probably read that 2 or 3 times.
Right now, I’m reading a few books. A couple of days ago, I finished Lovely Girls by Margot Hunt. It’s a good book, but it falls apart in the end, which, unfortunately, is expected.
I don’t think I will finish The Summer She Went Missing by author Chelsea I. The characters are too young. I thought they were older because they were drinking beer, but they are 16. Are 16-year-olds drinking beer like it’s normal? Everything I read says no. I don’t know any 16-year-olds, though.
Anyway, there was a lot of hype about Summer She Went Missing, but so far, it’s a generic teen mystery. I started reading it because it’s new and one of the top books out right now—in YA, I guess.
