How America Looks to Martians

Daily writing prompt
Come up with a crazy business idea.

Charge people for healthcare. That’s the business. I don’t have a name. I know this is outrageous, but the prompt says CRAZY.

Everyone has to pay. What if they don’t have money? Not my problem. Maybe the government will pay for them, and I will still get paid! I doubt the government will pay as much as Sheila. So, the care for the poor people will be a little lower. But they still get something. They are getting something for nothing. It’s not very American. But I didn’t make the rules.

Some people may be left out. I don’t expect the government to pay for everyone, but this isn’t MY problem. Most people can pay me.

Sheila can pay me. She’s a veterinarian. She complains about being underpaid, but she makes $60,000 a year. She can always pay me even when she doesn’t want to. She wants to live…right?

Who wouldn’t pay for healthcare? What will they do? Just die? This is brilliant!
