I Blogged It Out in 2022!

Sick again. Last year I got sick in January. Go to the hospital. Um, I’m not rich. By the looks I get, I know I don’t look rich. So, what is everyone’s problem? People don’t think before they talk. Or they are brainwashed by society.

Yesterday I was very dizzy. I’m bad with time, but I think I have been getting dizzy after yoga for the past one or two months. I don’t do yoga every day. On average, I do yoga for about 12 minutes a day at 9:30 in the morning (during my 15-minute work break).

So, I was dizzy in the morning, but that’s sort of normal. I was more dizzy than usual. I was like, “what a workout that must have been!” But it was one of the “waking up the body” yoga. It wasn’t one of the challenging workouts that made me sweat.

Then I went back to work. It was raining, so I couldn’t walk my dog*. I might have gotten dizzy if I had walked him. So I was sedentary after yoga. And then, after I got off work, I got dizzy, which is what happened when I had HIGH blood pressure in early 2022. So I think my BP must be high, but that’s weird. I haven’t had a really high BP reading since I started taking medicine.

*I shouldn’t say anything bad about my dog. However, he made me fall last Saturday. In front of people. Luckily I didn’t hear laughter because the people were in their cars. It’s my fault. It has been two years since I’ve been into purses, but I found one at the thrift store and bought it. It needs to be bigger for park outings. I always take my planner to the park. It can’t fit, and I’m trying to hold on to my dog, purse, and planner. He was running. I was trying to keep up and fell flat on the ground. If it were in my neighborhood, I would have DIED.

I’m never taking that purse to the park again. Too small. I hate small bags, but I bought it because it was $1.75 and purple!

Every time I got up, I would get really dizzy. Once I thought I might fall. Then I started taking my BP. I was shocked it was low. The lowest was 91/65. This morning it was 92/66. So I searched Bing, and it wasn’t that helpful. Then, of course, they mention going to the ER. But almost every site just defined hypotension, which didn’t help me.

The only tips were to drink water and something salty. Gastroparesis affects both of these things. I can’t drink water in the morning without feeling very nauseous. Around mid-day, I can drink water. I usually drink 12-16 ounces of water a day.

WOAH! WOAH! WOAH! I just found out why I’m having BP problems. The medicine is extended-release. It can’t be crushed. UGH, she is supposed to be a great doctor for people with autism. She might be okay with treating autistic people, but why would anyone say it is okay to crush an extended-release pill? So, I’m not taking it anymore—what a waste of money.

There is a liquid version, but my insurance doesn’t pay one dime for it. They didn’t want to give me the pill version.

Blogging it out helped me. LOL. YAY. And maybe it will help someone. Don’t crush or chew extended-release tablets. I don’t know why anyone would chew a tablet. I can’t think of any tablet that I could chew. They taste nasty. I put my medicine in liquid.

I crushed it for about two weeks with no symptoms. I know the dizziness hasn’t been going on for only two weeks. Anyway, it’s only after yoga, so I’m not worried about that.

OMG. How freaking obvious is this??! Well, I hope I feel better soon. I was off from my day job and haven’t worked much today. So, today was my day off. I was going to take Sunday or Monday off.

I’ll probably do research tonight, which I don’t consider work because I love it. I have big plans for next year. I’m freaking out because I have nothing major planned for January. I’m going to be working on products. I will be marketing. So, I have to plan that because January is in less than ten days.

Ugh. gotta go. I love planning, but putting it on paper, makes it real. So I’m going to make it real tonight! No pressure.

It’s so cold here. But it’s going to be 55 degrees in about a week. I prefer the cold to the snow, BUT it was so windy today that I could not walk. I was trying to get back from the urgent care center to my car. I had to stand there for what seemed like forever. I was thinking, “Please don’t let a car come!”

BTW, urgent care is a waste of time if you have low blood pressure. They don’t treat that. They don’t give IVs. They should be able to treat high blood pressure, but they won’t risk it. High blood pressure can lead to a stroke. I don’t think urgent care centers can treat stroke. So, unfortunately, a hospital is the only option.

This Week I….

Music of the week: Shania Twain, Ariana Grande, Gabby Barrett, Faith Mariah, Lee Ann Womack, Boyce Avenue, Deanna Carter, Jessica Andrews

TV of the week: Pretty Little Liars, Project Runway

Podcasts of the Week: The Vanished, Cold, Pretty Lies & Alibis, The Piketon Massacre, Truth & Justice, Crimelines, 48 Hours, The Daily, Suspect, Becoming Boss, Generation Why, Lost in Panama, Gone Cold

Books of the Week: I have not finished a book since November 27. I read 70% of The Palace Papers: Inside the House of Windsor–the Truth and the Turmoil by Tina Brown. Unfortunately, I didn’t have enough time to finish the book. It’s good and has 849 pages!

I’m reading 3,345 books right now. I like The Art of Stopping: How to be Still When You Have to Keep Going by David Kundtz. I find most books about resting unrealistic for people who have to work more than 40 hours or have to be a 24/7 caregiver, but for some reason, this book hasn’t turned me off…yet. He did mention a retreat, and I wanted one or two days to do business plans, and I couldn’t afford that this year, so a retreat???!

Goals for Next Week: I work four days next week. I hope we don’t have the required overtime, but I’m not counting on it. I want to feel better. I’m so glad I’m not taking that medicine anymore! I have a few deadlines, so I need to work on those this and next week.

Weekend Plans: It’s too cold for the park. I will probably work next all weekend because I didn’t do much work today. Random, but I’m going to take January 1 off, no matter what! So I must check all deadlines to make sure I’m not working. I will clean up, but that will take less than 45 minutes.

Have a nice weekend. It’s freezing here. My dog is pissed because he didn’t go for a walk today. He knows how windy it is! I hope it isn’t as windy tomorrow. He loves to walk so much that I will walk him in 30-degree weather, but it’s unsafe to walk him in the wind. There are two spots on the walk where he likes to jump into the street; if it’s windy, I can’t see. etc. etc. etc.
