It is exactly what you think. I made my first cup of tea! I did it all wrong because I don’t cook. A lil sarcasm there. I’ve discovered they are for sale on Amazon. The bed time tea (Yogi Bedtime, Herbal Tea Supplement) tasted the best. I was hoping that it wouldn’t be effective for sleep so I could drink it at work to cal my nerves. Nah, it really works. It contains passion flower extract which I’d been meaning to order for months for sleep. I like Amazon’s subscribe & save program. Free shipping! I already know that I’m probably going to drink this every night but I need to see how it makes me feel the day after – at work.

The other tea was a stimulant: Yogi Green Tea Energy, Herbal Tea Supplement. It worked okay, I guess. It has ginseng in it. Once again the best test is work. I also want to try their Yogi Kava Stress Relief, Herbal Tea Supplement. If I buy in bulk from Amazon it won’t be soon but the thought excites me. lol. I also need to know how it will affect my digestive system. So far no problems.

Without the subscribe & save, I can pick up the tea @ Kroger for about the same price once shipping is added.

I know a little about herbal supplements from the book: Depression-Free for Life: A Physician’s All-Natural, 5-Step Plan. Some books I can’t find after I read them but this is a great reference book. It does mention pharmaceutical drugs but that isn’t the focus. Instead it talks about amino acids, which foods to eat, vitamins and herbal supplements.

I started using vitamin B about 2 years ago since one of my major issues is lack of energy and always being tired. It worked! It kept me alert. It had no effect on and depression probably because my problem is being anxious all the time and no social support. Nothing is magic. Anyhow, I had to stop taking it after a while because it messed up by digestive system.

Depression Free for life = great resource book. Even if you aren’t clinically depressed but just want to feel better and eat healthier.

Gotta go. I don’t know what’s wrong with me for the past few days, I’ve been acting like I’m not in school! That ends today. Next weekend is my 2 day John Mayer vacay. I’m trying not to think about it or it will stress me out. I don’t even know how far the hotel is from the venue. I’m leaving Saturday and coming back early Monday morning. Then I have to work for 4 hours. The concert is Sunday night. This is very exciting for me…I’ve seen quite a few “big names” in concert but John Mayer is has been in my top 3 to see for about 9 years. This is like a dream. I’m getting overwhelmed. I’ve got to stop.
